Road Trippin’: Destiny’s Child v. Chuck Berry

I’ve been known to argue there’s an appropriate Destiny’s Child song for every moment in ones life.  While my theory has been mocked by many, I stand behind my declaration.

While driving to Owen Sound this past long weekend, I found myself  once again defending my stance on DC.  We hypothesized appropriate choices for weddings, funerals and everything inbetween.  While I dominated the arguement with undeniable DC references, I was  unable to think of anything from their song book that captured the essence of the roadtrip better than this Chuck Berry classic:

If you’ve got a better suggestion, I’d like to hear it… not withstanding any Tom Cochran references – way over done.

Aside from this extremely topical debate, the  weekend was chocked full of good food, Inglis falls,  refreshing beverages and one bad-ass Rhubarb Strawberry crisp courtesy of joyous health.
